Our current iteration of this blend is: 33% Nicaragua La Bastilla / 66% Colombia Washed. The Colombian coffee comes from the ASOBOMBO Growers Association in Huila, whom we've purchases several other coffees from in the past. Check out Nicaragua La Bastilla for more details of that blend component. The roasts in this blend are developed longer than our single origin coffees.
We generally aim for chocolate notes and stone fruit sweetness when crafting this blend. It’s ideal for our daily café espresso use, for home espresso, and as a rich, balanced every-morning coffee too.
We called this blend Levity because we're hoping it's tasty, uplifting and frivolous. There may have been a wild brainstorming session in which levity-lever-espresso machines were involved. (We spent a lot of years serving lever machine espresso!)
